Item regulatory

Item regulatory mainly covers two aspects: Hazmat material information and energy efficiency rating. Hazmat material information refers to dangerous items such as chemicals and explosives, while energy efficiency rating refer to products like LED lights that require energy efficiency labels to be uploaded.

Important Notes:

Modifying a item regulatory will not affect the linked listings. The changes will take effect once the listing is updated.

Ⅰ. Add Item regulatory

There are two methods to create item regulatory:

Method 1: Create on profile/listing editing page

Step 1: Enter the profile/listing edit page > select eBay account and site;

Step 2: Click on "Item regulatory" in the right-hand navigation bar to quickly navigate to the item oversight module, tick [Item regulatory] > Set the Hazmat information, energy efficiency rating, and repairability index.

Step 3: Click [Save as] > input the module name. You can save the filled content as a module for quick reference next time.

Method 2: Create on the management page

Step 1: Click [Listings] > [Preset modules] > [Item regulatory];

Step 2: Click [Add];

Step 3: Input the module name > Select site > Set the Hazmat information, energy efficiency rating, and repairability index > Click [Save].

Ⅱ. Apply Item regulatory

Step 1: Go to the profile/listing editing page > Select eBay account and site;

Step 2: Click on "Item regulatory" in the right-hand navigation bar to quickly navigate to the item oversight module, tick [Item regulatory] > Click [Select];

Step 3: Support to searching for module names, or directly finding the desired item regulatory module, click [Select] to quickly reference the module.
