Video Upload FAQ
- When uploading a video prompting [incorrect format]:
- Check if the file format is mp4 file
- Check whether the encoding is MPEG-4 Part 10 or MPEG-4 AVC (eBay currently only supports these two encodings), the encoding can be checked with a third-party video player
- Uploading video prompts [Network abnormality or request blocked]
- Minimize the file size as much as possible to shorten the upload time, such as reducing the video resolution (eBay recommends no more than 1080P, and eBay will also compress the video to 720P after uploading), or shorten the length of the video (the length is controlled within 1 minute)
- [Error while processing video stream] appears after the video is uploaded
- Check if the video resolution is too large, it is recommended not to exceed 1920 x 1080
- Check whether the video duration is too long, it is recommended not to exceed 60s
- Check whether the encoding is MPEG-4 Part 10 or MPEG-4 AVC (eBay currently only supports these two encodings), the encoding can be viewed using a third-party player or transcoding tool
- If the above points meet the requirements, try uploading the video again
- Check if the video resolution is too large, it is recommended not to exceed 1920 x 1080
- After the video is uploaded, the review fails, and the status is [BLOCKED]
