Cancellations Management

Definition: The operation of canceling a transaction initiated by the buyer, seller, or eBay platform after the order has been created but before the item has been shipped.

Common scenarios:

1) The buyer changes their mind or enters the wrong address after placing the order, and requests cancellation before shipment;
2) The seller cannot ship due to insufficient inventory, or the address provided by the buyer is undeliverable;
3) The buyer fails to pay within the required time, or when the system detects suspicious transactions, eBay will intervene and automatically cancel the order.

Steps:

Step 1: Click [Customer Service] > [Resolution Center - Cancellations];

Step 2: Click on a pending cancellation request. On the right side, you can view the buyer's reason for further assessment;

Step 3: Click [Accept] or [Decline] to process the request.
